A little history about this collection... A few years back, I started drawing a song or lyric every day as part of The 100 Day Project. I traveled with colored pencils, my list of songs and a pad of paper. Every day, I posted to my Instagram account and asked my friends and followers to, "Name That Tune!" Many said it was the highlight of their day!
At one point, I called in to Martha Quinn's iHeart80's live radio show and she played "Name That Tune" live on the air (her co-host described a few illustrations and she guessed the songs). She loved my art so much she featured me on the radio! Listen to our 2 minute interview here: Totally Awesome-Wendy Wood segment here!
Fast forward (yes, a punny cassette tape reference as a nod to the 80's) and I am finally getting some of my favorites online and in one place. And, not only that! You can buy a framed art print or, in many cases, a mug!
Click on each one and it will take it to my shop to reveal the song name and a short story for each. Enjoy!
